back to his "kingdom" from throughout the 52 States!

of daily modern-day living! The "Grand Ole Opry" knew about it

and has sung its praises broadcasting from Nashville every Fri. &

Sat. night since l925. Crockett had a log cabin, but today's

"frontiersmen" have all the modern comforts and the latest amenities

offered by today's architects, bankers, and Tennessee real estate

developers--nestled near the hills and valleys of the Great Smokey

Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest! The "Wild Frontier",

as Davy knew it, is providing a possible safe haven (from earth-

quakes, hurricanes and other phenomena) for the modern-day "Davy

Crockett"! Even the "snow-birds" of the southern States have decided

Tennessee "sounds good to me"! The "new frontier" is welcoming the

tired and weary to its quiet haven of lofty grandeur!
