First reports from Butler PA* stated that there was as little as one second between the shots and the shooter being “neutralized”
To be precise, the shooter’s first shots took 2.5 seconds – two seconds later he was shot. Still this means that they must have been watching … or worse.. “gun ready” on his location.

Sorry, I am a sound guy…. you can hear the pop from his upper ear BEFORE you hear the gun sound 400 feet away. No need to go on and on about the speed of sound and how altitude and humidity are factors.
Anyway, a pop can be heard before you hear the gun. The sound can best be described as the sound made when you slap a piece of meat with a spoon (though some argue a simple dinner knife on its’ side sounds better). In this case it was the top of Mr. Trumps right ear getting pierced by a bullet whizzing by at 3,100 feet-per-second. Yet more rumors begin to spread. They say this may be the first time a president’s EAR has made a sound.

Then there is only 2.4 seconds after the 3 audible shots (that also take around 2 seconds) before they take the troubled and apparently bullied 20 year old out from the barn perch.
