AfroTech Executive 2024 draws big turnout at North to Shore in Newark

Listen to this article The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and AfroTech are touting the success of a recent partnership: AfroTech Executive 2024, which took place during this year’s North to Shore Festival June 28 at Prudential Tower in Newark. Officials say the event drew over 240 people, bringing together corporate executives, founders, entrepreneurs and investors.

The day featured discussions on topics such as tech innovation, financial literacy and responsibility, generational wealth creation, artificial intelligence (AI), diversity and more. Journalist and entrepreneur Angela Rye keynoted AfroTech.
