Currently NJ.ORG is developing a politically diverse B2B referral network with a charity component. It’s other mission is to educate the public about public policy as well as aggregate the voting power of diverse groups on key issues facing NJ residents and taxpayers.

The nj.org domain was acquired in 1994 by Jay Treble the founder of the first and only non profit bandwidth cooperative for mom and pop ISPs. Known as AV network’s IPeXchange, the ethernet connection to UUnet provided a dozen participants full T-1 service for less than half the going rate from Sprint.

I can’t thank enough the small group of volunteers helping to identify and take action on issues ranging from high taxes, campaign and justice reform and other things we can do better at. JT.
