Kathleen M. Gorman née Welsh, of Avon-By-The-Sea, age 92, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. She was born and raised in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan by her loving parents, Catherine G. (née Higgins) and Edward M. Welsh. Kathleen has resided in Avon-by-the-Sea for the last 31 years, after previously summering in Avon since the 1950s.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis A. Gorman in 1998, with whom she attended St. Francis Xavier Grammar School. They were married in the Church of Saint Francis Xavier, New York on December 27, 1958
