New York Man Admits To Robbing Ocean County Resident

  BRICK – A New York man has admitted to robbing a Brick Township resident outside of their home, authorities said.

  Vongvichit Vatthanavong, 50, of Brooklyn, New York, pled guilty to Robbery in connection with an incident that occurred in Brick on January 5, 2023. At the time of his sentencing on July 18, 2025, the State will be seeking a term of twelve and one-half years New Jersey State Prison subject to the terms of the No Early Release Act.
