Bruce Springsteen has released the sixth song from his upcoming Tracks II: The Lost Albums boxed set: “Sunday Love,” from his Twilight Hours album.
It’s a moody, elegant ballad with a lush, orchestral arrangement — somewhat reminiscent, overall, of Burt Bacharach.
According to a press release, Twilight Hours was written “in tandem” with Springsteen’s 2019 Western Stars album, “over the course of a decade.” Springsteen has called the album a collection of “romantic, lost-in-the-city songs.”
