NEW YORK — Before the trade market heats up later this month — with the July 31 deadline inching closer — the Yankees are taking to free agency to try and bolster their infield.
During Saturday’s 12-6 loss to the Mets, news broke that the Yankees signed veteran Jeimer Candelario to a minor-league deal.
