Two men have been hospitalized, officials said, after they were stabbed in an attack that happened on Tuesday night in Jefferson Square Park in South Philly.
According to police, officers responded to the park, along the 300 block of Washington Avenue, at about 11:14 p.m. on Tuesday, to find two men suffering from stab wounds.
A 37-year-old man, officials said, had been stabbed in his head and his left arm while a 28-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his stomach.
Both men were taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said, they were placed in stable condition.
The pair told police that they had been attacked by a man, but police provided no further details on the incident or suspect who may be involved in this incident.
