James Edward Smith, age 90, of Wall Twp. passed away Monday, June 2nd 2025 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. James was born in Roselle Park N.J. and moved to West Belmar at age 2. James attended Manasquan High School and upon graduation enrolled in Rutgers University and later enlisted in the United States Air Force where he learned Avionics. Those who knew James knew how much he loved his home and spending time outside tending to the beautiful surrounding property. He also loved riding his bike on the bike path. James was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, could fix anything and was a giver of wonderful and often humorous advice. He loved his family with his whole heart and will be greatly missed.
