New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr. released the following statement:
“I am proud to endorse Fatima Heyward for President of the Young Democrats of America. Fatima is an exceptional leader who will bring some New Jersey spirit to the national Young Democrats of America organization. During her six year tenure as President of the New Jersey Young Democrats, she has advocated, organized, and supported numerous young people running for office across our state.
