Legendary rapper is latest to rip Zohran Mamdani, offers one-way ticket out of NYC

Rapper 50 Cent has joined the chorus of people jostled by Zohran Mamdani’s Democratic primary win this past Tuesday for NYC mayor over former Governor Andrew Cuomo. It has something to do with a potential increase in taxes on the wealthy and New Jersey.

During his mayoral campaign, the 33-year-old assemblyman made a stop at “The Breakfast Club,” to which 50 Cent posted a now-deleted clip on his Instagram page Wednesday.

The Democratic candidate outlined his plan to raise $10 billion to fund his economic agenda, which includes fare-free buses, no-cost childcare, a freeze on rent for all stabilized tenants, and the creation of a network of city-owned grocery stores to keep costs down for consumers.
