A Philadelphia police officer working at the Philadelphia International Airport died on Saturday after suffering a medical emergency, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said in an X post.
“We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of one of our own this morning,” Bethel wrote. “Our officer, a dedicated veteran assigned to the Airport Unit, died after suffering a medical emergency. With decades of service, he served our city with honor. Please keep his family in your prayers.”
