Fiery Dem totally burns Trump apologist with stinging one-liner

U.S. Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.) delivered a brutal takedown of CNN conservative pundit Scott Jennings over President Donald Trump’s “big beautiful bill.”

Torres and Jennings sparred on CNN’s “NewsNight with Abby Phillips” over new work requirements included in Trump’s signature bill signed into law last week. Under the new law, many Medicaid enrollees ages 19 through 64 would be required to work, go to school or perform at least 80 hours of community service a month.

“It’s not just illegal aliens. It also includes work requirements for people who choose not to work,” Jennings said, adding that “almost 5 million people” choose not to work.
