A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting outside an apartment in Atlantic City, New Jersey, last month, officials announced.
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, just before 9 a.m., the Atlantic City Police Department received a 911 call regarding a man lying on the sidewalk outside of the Shore Park Apartments located at 225 N. Virginia Ave. in Atlantic City.
Officials said when officers arrived on the scene, they found 40-year-old Robert Stanley Davis unresponsive with what appeared to be one gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene a short time later.
After an autopsy, officials said the cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound.
