Park City police told of beer pong, noisiness

The Park City Police Department received a series of recent reports about noisy people and parties during a busy stretch in the community after Independence Day.

The cases did not appear to be serious and they seemed to be typical for crowded times in Park City.

Some of the cases included:

• On Sunday, July 13, at 6:38 p.m., the Police Department received a report of music, described as loud, in the area of Park Avenue and 11th Street. The person who contacted the police described the music volume as “excessive and it does not fall in line with the noise ordinance,” according to department logs. The police categorized the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
