Joseph George Bilby, 81, of Wall passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Joe proudly served his country as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army’s First Infantry Division from 1966 – 1968 during Vietnam. While deployed in Vietnam, he worked as Military Police and ran a mortar platoon. After his discharge from the Army, Joe worked in a variety of fields, including as a probation officer and a high school history teacher, before finding his calling working for the New Jersey Department of Labor in unemployment fraud investigations; he retired as a supervising investigator.
