A body was found in the Delaware River in South Philadelphia on Saturday, police said.
Police said they responded to a report of a body in the river just before noon on Saturday, Aug. 2, where they pulled a 30 to 40-year-old man from the water.
Medics pronouncing the man dead at 11:45 a.m., police said.
The incident occurred in the area of 1600 S. Christopher Columbus Boulevard, police said.
No cause of death has been given, but Philadelphia detectives are investigating the incident, police said.
The man’s identity has also not yet been released.
