Ann Marie Hopkins (née McAdam), 85, passed away peacefully on July 22nd. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family on a bright sunny morning.
Ann was born in Jersey City and raised in Kearny, NJ. She raised her family in Belmar and Avon before moving to Brick Township. She loved “getting in the dirt” to tend her garden. She called it her therapy. She was known to save bread to feed the birds as part of her morning routine, while she drank her coffee extra sweet. Ann loved nature…leaves, flowers, rainbows, clouds, birds, you name it. She proudly propagated roots displayed on her kitchen windowsill. If you were in the car with her she would want to stop to pick wildflowers or twigs to bring home. These adventures were classic for Mom.
