AVON-BY-THE-SEA — The annual Friends of the Avon Library Book Fair is set for this weekend at the boardwalk pavilion.
On Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, July 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the community is invited to come out and browse a selection of around 2,500 books. Hardcover books and other items cost $1, and paperback books are 50 cents. The library asks patrons to bring with them their own bags.
Funds made from the book sale aid in library projects such as building improvements and programming.
For those who have some extra books in need of a new home, the library will be collecting donations for the sale beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday morning at the pavilion. Other acceptable donations include puzzles and DVDs. Textbooks and encyclopedias will…
