Cincinnati man arrested for online threats to kill ICE officers, faces federal charges

CINCINNATI — A 38-year-old Cincinnati man was arrested Friday by federal authorities after allegedly posting multiple threats online to kill officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to officials.

Anthony Marcus Kelly faces federal charges including threatening to assault, kidnap, or murder a U.S. official, and transmitting threats across state lines. The arrest was carried out by ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the FBI following an investigation into a social media account using the name “Slab.”

Authorities say Kelly posted threats on social media referencing firearms and calling for violence against ICE personnel. In one post, he wrote, “Why even bother with these damn courts anymore… they’re rabid dogs…
