Frederick J. Mihelic, 83, passed away on Friday June 13, 2025, at home. He was born to Rudolph and Rosella (Bubalo) Mihelic on May 28, 1942 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania where he grew up with three brothers and one sister. He was a 1960 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School (Go Westies!) where he was involved in many activities, his most cherished being chorus and drama. At his 40-year reunion he shared, “My junior and senior years were especially satisfying with far more happy memories than regrets. I remember as the months marched on towards June 1960 how desperately I wanted to hold back the clock and get the most out of every minute.” A sentiment that those who loved him most have felt deeply this past week.
