Gloria A. Urbanek, 88, of Spring Lake Heights, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, surrounded by her loving family. Gloria ‘Sis’ as she was known to her family was born in Kearny, NJ, to parents Frederick and Helen Egbert. She also lived in Bradley Beach before moving to Spring Lake Heights in 1964 with her husband, Anthony (Tony). It was there that they raised their four children.
Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed walking on the boardwalk, and was an avid reader. She loved mind puzzles and always traveled with a sudoku book in hand. She was also a great sports enthusiast, she loved watching football and never missed a Yankee game.
