In Asbury Park, Sherrill Rebukes Ciattarelli and Trump

ASBURY PARK – They say great things happen down here on the Jersey Shore, great music and great partnerships, often under turbulent circumstances, like when Bruce and Clarence met after a storm ripped the front door off the Student Prince Bar and the guitarist and saxophonist came face to face for the first time, to forge a lifelong legendary creative partnership.

Now Mikie Sherrill wants to connect with New Jersey like that, to make music that shuts up the infernally moronic Donald Trump and his cronies, a President whose history in the Garden State includes stiffing casino workers and evacuating to the comfort zone of his Central Jersey golf course.

That’s the same golf course where Republican Jack Ciattarelli went to secure Trump’s endorsement in the Republican Primary.
