Leo M Meyers passed on July 6, 2025, after being unwell for some time.
Leo was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on January 8, 1928. The Meyers family moved to Manasquan when Leo was very young. Leo grew up in Manasquan, enjoying the beach with his good friends George and Dave. He often told of their many adventures.
The family opened a 5 & 10 Variety Store on Main Street in Manasquan, where Leo worked with his family. Meyers Variety Store was popular with local shoppers for many years. Leo ran the business with his sister Rose and his brother in law, Seymour, commuting to work on his red Vespa Scooter.
