A motorcyclist was ejected after crashing into a truck while fleeing police on Veterans Highway in Bristol on Saturday, July 26, police said.
The incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. when Bristol Township Police attempted a traffic stop on the motorcycle, but the motorcyclist attempted to flee north on Veterans Highway, police said.
The driver of the motorcycle proceeded to drive through a red light and collide into the rear end of a bystander truck at the intersection of Veterans Highway and Rockview Drive, police said.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to the hospital with injuries, police said.
Both the motorcycle and the truck were moderately damaged, police said.
