WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office is investigating a fatal police-involved shooting that occurred early Thursday in Middlesex County, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old man identified as Aamir Allen of Carteret.

According to a statement released by the Office of Public Integrity and Accountability, the incident began around 1:00 a.m. when Woodbridge police responded to a 911 call about a domestic dispute at a home on East Tappen Street in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township.
