NJPAC presents Carlos Varela with special guest Diana Fuentes

(NEWARK, NJ) — New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents Carlos Varela with special guest Diana Fuentes on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 7:30pm. Known as the “Poet of Havana”, the immensely popular Cuban singer-songwriter Carlos Varela has dedicated his 30-year music career to expressing “the problems of my people.”

Varela’s poetic lyrics speak to the promise and pain of Cuba across generations, with complex emotion and powerful imagery.
