Park City police receive complaint about backyard ‘beer pong’

The Park City Police Department in late July received several complaints about noise, continuing a series of cases in recent weeks.

The reports were logged in various neighborhoods, including Old Town. They did not appear to be serious, but the reports highlight the issues that often arise during busy times in the community. The summer-tourism season is underway, drawing crowds to Old Town and elsewhere.

• On Sunday, July 27, at 10:59 p.m., the police received a report of people “hanging out and making noise” toward the southern end of Daly Avenue. The people were close to a trailhead, the police were told. The department logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
