Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Motorcyclist Who Fled Traffic Stop

JACKSON — The Jackson Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a motorcyclist who fled from a traffic stop on East Veterans Highway early Saturday, June 21.

According to police, Officer Jamison (#303) observed a motorcyclist tailgating another vehicle and operating without a visible New Jersey registration plate. When the officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop near the Jackson First Aid building, the rider initially slowed but then accelerated rapidly, fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed toward Lakewood. Authorities say the suspect endangered other motorists and himself during the incident.
