Big changes for the First State.
Starting Friday, August 1, 2025, people 21 years of age and older can legally buy recreational marijuana in Delaware.
Recreational marijuana will be sold at medical dispensaries that received conversion licenses.
However, there are still some restrictions on recreational use. Adults can not have more than one ounce of marijuana at a time, and customers cannot cross state lines with it.
