Former President Joe Biden criticized President Donald Trump and Republicans once again over allegations about his mental capacity and the use of the autopen.
In an interview with The New York Times released Sunday, Biden spoke about the clemency decisions he had issued at the end of his presidency, including preventing 1,500 people who had been serving in home confinement since the pandemic from returning to prison, reducing the sentences of around 2,500 non-violent drug offenders and switching the sentences of 37 death row inmates into life without parole.
“I made every single one of those. And — including the categories, when we set this up to begin with,” Biden told The New York Times.
