In anticipation of the Sept. 12 release of “This Is Spinal Tap” sequel, “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” a restored version of the 1984 movie will be shown movie theaters, July 5-7,

As in the original film, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer will play members of the hilariously clueless heavy metal band, and Rob Reiner will direct.
