A water main break in North Philadelphia on Monday flooded a roadway and shut off water to nearby residents, disrupting their daily routine.
NBC10 spotted water shooting out onto Thompson Street, near Franklin Street, on Monday morning.
In the afternoon, SkyForce10 was over the scene, where crews worked on a giant hole in the street.
Officials say the 12-inch water main broke around 8 a.m., shutting off water to around 50 homes.

Water was restored to all but three homes by 11 a.m., officials said.
At around 9 p.m., water was restored to the remaining three homes, officials said.
