Kirk Detweiler rubbed some viewers the wrong way with his demeanor in the Netflix docuseries “Amy Bradley Is Missing.”
Detweiler was working as the Rhapsody of the Seas’ Cruise Director when Amy disappeared from the ship in March 1998.
“The cruise director is, like, the face of the ship,” Detweiler explained in episode 1 of the docuseries. “My soft spot is for the old ladies. I would go dance with the old ladies.”
Detwiler worked for Royal Caribbean International for over 20 years. As of 2021, he works as the Executive Director for the Marion Palace Theatre in Marion, Ohio.
