Wilkes-Barre man found with paraphernalia during arrest

WILKES-BARRE, PA — A man was taken into custody late Wednesday night after officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant and was carrying drug paraphernalia.

At approximately 11:48 p.m., officers patrolling the 100 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue made contact with 52-year-old Bruce Wild of Wilkes-Barre. During the encounter, police confirmed an active arrest warrant had been issued for Wild by the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department.

Upon taking him into custody, officers conducted a search and located drug paraphernalia on his person. Wild was then transported to City Headquarters for processing.
